Music label Avex in trouble with employees payment

Avex Group is in trouble because it failed to pay hunders of millions of yen of overtime pay to his employees over an eight-month period until january.

Avex is one of the major music label in Japan. the company manages singers like Ayumi Hamasaki, Koda Kumi, BoA, Anna Tsuchiya, Hitomi and more. The group joined various companies like Yamato Holdings Co. and Kansai Electric Power Co, where employees were recently found to have not been paid for overtime work.

The company has promised that they payment will be made during this month and is checking if the wages in february and beyond were properly paid.

Avex is listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange and produces and distributes music while also being involved in anime creation and other film-related operations.
